DCS Artisan Production Grade A, B & C Vacancies

The Department of Correctional Services is hiring for Artisan Production Grade A, B and C posts  including Electrician, Plumber, Welder and other trades, in the Free State and Northern Cape Region.

Candidates need an appropriate Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal) in their relevant trade, recognised under the Manpower Training Act. Applications close on 13 July 2026 at 15:45 and can be submitted via the DCS careers portal, or to the Free State and Northern Cape Region office, or hand-delivered in Bloemfontein.

About This Opportunity

This listing covers several skilled trades  Electrician, Plumber, Welder and others, within DCSs Artisan Production structure across three grade levels. A Red Seal Trade Test Certificate is a hard requirement under the Manpower Training Act, so candidates without this certification for their trade will not qualify regardless of experience.
