Hortgro Bursary Programme 2027

Hortgro is offering bursaries for 2027 study in Agri-Management, Agricultural Science, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Biotechnology, Horticulture, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Microbiology or related fields at any recognised South African tertiary institution. The bursary is renewable annually subject to academic performance and includes mentorship. Applications close 15 August 2026 and require a handwritten motivational essay.

Requirements

• South African citizen
• Completed or currently in Matric
• Studying or intending to study an eligible field in 2027
• Renewable annually subject to academic performance
• Handwritten motivational essay required with application
