Overview:
Artisan Learnership Programme (Fitter, Electrician, Auto-Electrician)
This is a three-year structured learnership programme designed to prepare participants for artisan roles in mining and engineering. It combines classroom learning, hands-on skills development, and on-site experience at one of South Africa’s leading mines.
Upon successful completion, learners emerge with the technical qualifications, practical exposure, and confidence to work in high-performance industrial environments.
DISCIPLINES AVAILABLE:
- Fitter (Ref: LNS006-F): Master the art of mechanical repairs, installations, and maintenance.
- Electrician (Ref: LNS006-E): Get skilled in wiring, circuits, and safe electrical systems in heavy industries.
- Auto-Electrician (Ref: LNS006-AE): Dive into the electrical systems of heavy mining vehicles and machinery.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Participants will be exposed to the day-to-day operations of a major mining plant, shadowing professionals, learning safety procedures, understanding technical systems, and receiving mentorship along the way.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
To apply, candidates must possess:
- An N2 Certificate with all four relevant subjects
- OR a Technical Grade 12 with Maths, Science, and related trade theory
