Service Advisor – Clicks Store
- Location: Gauteng, Carnival Mall
- Contract: 45 hours/week, 6 days
Job Purpose:
Clicks is looking for a Service Advisor to ensure service excellence at the point of sale by delivering fast and efficient customer service while managing operational activities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee all point-of-sale (POS) operations efficiently.
- Manage stock and cash handling to minimise shrinkage and ensure security.
- Lead, train, and motivate cashiers and shop assistants to deliver exceptional service.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and compliance with labour laws.
- Handle customer queries promptly and professionally.
- Promote the Clicks ClubCard to drive participation and sales.
- Enforce security measures, cash controls, and return policies.
- Be a brand ambassador, offering a friendly and professional service.
- Stay updated on products, promotions, and store events to assist customers effectively.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Essential: Grade 12 (Matric)
- Preferred: Maths (50%) & English (50%) at Grade 12 level
- Advantageous: Retail/Business Management qualification (for external applicants)
- Experience: 1+ year in a customer-facing role within a retail/FMCG environment
Skills & Knowledge:
- Understanding of financial management principles
- Retail/FMCG experience with knowledge of merchandising & promotions
- Strong stock control & risk management skills
- Knowledge of customer service excellence & labour legislation
- Managerial, problem-solving, and planning abilities
- Strong communication & numeracy skills
- Computer literacy
