Your Mission
As a Reaction Officer reporting directly to the Security Manager, you will be the frontline defender of our clients’ assets, personnel, and premises. Your presence will deter threats, while your swift response capabilities will neutralize emerging situations before they escalate.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute regular property patrols with a keen eye for potential security breaches
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond promptly to suspicious activities
- Manage access control points with professionalism and authority
- Deploy emergency response protocols when necessary, including alarm systems
- Document security incidents thoroughly, including witness interviews and detailed reporting
- Maintain security equipment through preventative maintenance checks
- Direct traffic and implement safety procedures during emergencies
- Enforce compliance with company policies and government regulations
- Provide exemplary customer service while maintaining security protocols
- Implement specialized procedures for fire prevention, property patrol, and accident investigations
Your Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Grade 12 or Grade 10/11 with minimum 2 years of relevant security experience
- PSIRA Grade A and Grade B certification
- Armed response certification
- Firearm Competency (Handgun, Shotgun & Rifle)
- Valid driver’s license with business endorsement
- Superior report writing abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to relocate as required
