Auto Pedigree is seeking a professional, resilient, and target-driven Call Centre Sales Agent to join its dynamic team based in Spartan, Kempton Park. The primary objective of the role is to identify customer needs, match those needs with suitable service offerings, and drive business growth through effective lead conversion and customer retention. The Call Centre Agent acts as a critical link between prospective customers, internal sales teams, and financial institutions, ensuring a seamless and professional customer journey.

Key Responsibilities and Job Outputs

The Call Centre Agent is responsible for delivering high-quality sales and customer service outcomes through the following key functions:

•           Handling outbound and inbound sales calls with speed, professionalism, and efficiency.

•           Informing clients about company procedures and applicable financial institution requirements, particularly regarding finance applications.

•           Converting leads into successful sales opportunities by building trust and understanding customer needs.

•           Managing daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities in line with business targets.

•           Driving specific sales strategies to retain existing customers and grow the customer base.

•           Updating the Lead Management System accurately with feedback and outcomes from customer interactions.

•           Recording all sales activities on required reports and systems.

•           Managing customer escalations professionally and ensuring timely feedback and resolution.

•           Participating actively in sales meetings, team discussions, and ongoing sales training programmes.

•           Adhering strictly to company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, including the National Credit Act (NCA).

•           Performing any additional duties as assigned to support business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

Qualifications

•           Grade 12 / Senior Certificate (essential)

•           NCA Accreditation (essential)

Experience

•           Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service and sales

•           Call centre sales experience (essential)

•           Automotive or related industry experience (advantageous)

Additional Requirements

•           Computer literacy with a high level of competence in Excel and Outlook

•           Valid South African ID document

•           Valid South African driver’s licence
