Purpose of the Position
The primary purpose of the General Worker role is to provide essential support services within the Johannesburg branch. This includes performing a variety of general duties, yard maintenance tasks, and cleaning responsibilities to maintain a safe and productive working environment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
The General Worker will be responsible for a range of daily operational tasks, including:
- Performing general cleaning duties within workshop areas, including sweeping, washing, and maintaining floor spaces.
- Assisting with yard maintenance to ensure outdoor areas remain clean, organised, and hazard-free.
- Supporting workshop staff by preparing workspaces and assisting with basic manual tasks when required.
- Ensuring that tools, equipment, and materials are stored safely and correctly after use.
- Assisting with loading, unloading, and moving equipment or materials as directed by the Workshop Supervisor.
- Maintaining a high standard of workplace hygiene and safety in line with organisational policies.
- Reporting any hazards, damages, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Supporting operational teams during busy periods to ensure smooth workflow.
- Performing additional general duties as assigned to support branch operations.
Minimum Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following educational requirement:
- Grade 12 / N3 qualification (essential)

Experience Requirements
Candidates must have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a general worker, preferably within a workshop or industrial environment.
