Job Overview
Fidelity ADT is currently seeking qualified and disciplined Armed Response Officers to join their high-performance security team in Welkom, Free State. This role is ideal for those with a strong background in response operations, a passion for protecting lives and property, and the stamina to handle the physical and mental demands of high-risk security duties.
The officers will be responsible for responding swiftly to alarm activations, securing premises, and providing a visible deterrent to crime in residential and estate environments.
Key Responsibilities
Respond rapidly and appropriately to security alarm activations
Patrol designated areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion
Safeguard residential and estate clients with visible armed presence
Liaise with clients and residents during emergencies
Remain alert and calm under pressure, particularly during high-stress callouts
Report all incidents accurately and in a timely manner
Follow standard operating procedures and site-specific instructions
Minimum Requirements
Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
Grade B PSIRA registration with response accreditation
Minimum 3 Years of Experience in the security industry
Firearm Competency – Business Purposes (Handgun)
Valid Driver’s License
No Criminal Record – candidates will undergo regular criminal checks
Must be physically fit, healthy, and comfortable with heights
Computer literacy is an added advantage
Must have prior residential or estate response experience
Must live within traveling distance to the deployment site
