Purpose
This learnership will support the full development of the learner in the food and beverage packaging environment, providing recognition, career mobility, and opportunities in beverage manufacturing and the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
Learners will complete the National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging, NQF Level 3 Learnership.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
During the learnership, learners will be exposed to:
- Bottling processes and procedures
- Safety and housekeeping standards
- Quality tests and specifications
- Food handling practices
Key Attributes and Competencies
Skills and Qualities Required:
- Self-motivated and disciplined
- Strong attention to detail
- Good teamwork and communication skills
Qualifications Required:
- Grade 12 (Matric) with Maths or Maths Literacy (minimum 40%) and Science (minimum 50%)
- Two South African languages passed with at least 40%
- Must not have previously completed the same qualification/learnership at another company or organization
Other Requirements:
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Employment Equity candidate
- Must be unemployed at the time of appointment
- Age between 18-35 years
- Must be willing to commit to a 12-month learnership program
