Purpose of the Job
Impala Platinum is offering a Boilermaking Engineering Learnership Programme designed to equip successful candidates with the necessary skills and hands-on experience to qualify as artisans. This structured programme provides an opportunity to gain industry-recognized training and prepare for trade testing to become a certified boilermaker.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Completed N2 or NCV4 certificate in Boilermaking.
- Subjects at N2 level: Mathematics, Engineering Science, Structural Steel drawing, Plater trade theory.
- Must have a basic understanding of the applicable trade.
- Medically fit for both plants (BMR and PMR)
Training/Duties and Responsibilities
- Forty-Two (42) months learnership with a set training programme under the auspices of the Mining Qualification Authority (SETA).
- The learnership will also provide the incumbent with a sound understanding on how to safely fabricate, maintain and repair structural steel systems and equipment within a plant.
