Security Officer
Description: Security Officers are the backbone of our operations, responsible for protecting property, assets, and personnel through vigilant monitoring and security protocol implementation. These professionals maintain a security presence and respond to security incidents according to established procedures.
Requirements:
- PSIRA registration
- Clean criminal record
- Grade C certification
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/equivalent (preferred)
- Previous security experience (beneficial)
- Good observation and reporting skills
Estimated Salary: R5,500 – R7,500 per month, depending on experience and location
Armed Officer
Description: Armed Officers provide an enhanced level of security for high-risk environments. They carry and are trained to use firearms when necessary while following strict protocols and legal guidelines. These officers require additional certification and training beyond standard security personnel.
Requirements:
- PSIRA registration
- Clean criminal record
- Grade C certification
- Valid firearm competency certificate
- Business Purposes certification for relevant firearms
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/equivalent
- Firearms training and certification
- Good judgment and decision-making skills
- Physical fitness
Estimated Salary: R7,000 – R9,500 per month, depending on experience and assignment
Reaction Officer
Description: Reaction Officers respond quickly to security alarms and emergency situations. They are the mobile force that investigates triggered alarms, suspicious activities, and security breaches. These officers must be able to drive safely at high speeds when necessary and make rapid assessments of security situations.
Requirements:
- PSIRA registration
- Clean criminal record
- Grade C certification
- Reaction certificate
- Valid firearm competency certificate
- Valid driver’s license with minimum one year active driving experience
- Business Purposes certification for relevant firearms
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/equivalent
- Advanced driving skills
- Good geographical knowledge of assigned areas
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Physical fitness
Estimated Salary: R8,000 – R12,000 per month, depending on experience and area coverage
Area Supervisor
Description: Area Supervisors oversee security operations within designated zones, managing teams of Security Officers and ensuring compliance with company standards. They conduct regular site inspections, address client concerns, and coordinate security responses to incidents.
Requirements:
- PSIRA registration
- Clean criminal record
- Grade B certification
- Valid driver’s license with minimum one year active driving experience
- Strong communication skills
- English fluency
- Computer literacy
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/equivalent
- 2-3 years of security experience
- Leadership and management abilities
- Problem-solving skills
- Report writing capabilities
Estimated Salary: R12,000 – R18,000 per month, depending on area size and responsibilities
Control Room Officer
Description: Control Room Officers monitor security systems, CCTV footage, and alarm systems from a central location. They coordinate security responses, maintain communication with field officers, and document all security-related activities and incidents.

- CCTV monitoring experience
- Listener alarm monitoring experience
